As an athlete, optimal performance is what every athlete trains for. They are always seeking a break thru performance. However, the biggest set back for any athlete is an injury. Injury prevention, although often overlooked, is a key to break thru performance in any sport. Here are the Top 3 Ways to Prevent Sports Injuries:
- Spine alignment is the key ingredient for body balance and symmetry. By having the neck, back, hips and leg lengths balanced it creates better body balance which helps prevent the over use of any one muscle group or joints.
- Sleep- having a good bed, pillow and sleeping position allows the athlete to recover and build up their muscles when sleeping. This is very important, especially for hard working athletes who train hard in the gym, and on the field.
- Shoes- proper fitting shoes with good cushioning and arch support (if needed ) is real important for injury prevention. With poor shoe cushioning or support the leg muscles and back take extra strain which eventually causes injury.
