Sleep is oooooooohhhhhhhhh so important to our health. It allows our bodies to heal and recover from the day before. Unfortunately, many people struggle with getting consistent deep sleep for a number of reasons. There are a whole bunch of reasons why people do not sleep as good as they could but here are a few basic tips to improve sleep.
- Make sure your mattress is not to old or worn out. A worn out mattress can cause poor sleep and aches and pains. What happens is, you fall asleep, go into deep sleep, then the mattress starts to hurt your body to you almost come awake and toss or turn, repeating throughout the whole night for up to 6-9 hours. So make sure your mattress is not older than 5-6 years old.
- Pillow are also very important as they support your head and neck allowing you body to relax properly. Unfortunately, many people have to thin or flattened pillows which puts the head in a tilted position straining the neck and shoulders. Make sure the pillow is thick enough and supportive enough.
- Aromatherapy diffusers can be very helpful by releasing essential oils into the air creating a calm very relaxing room. Essential oils are know to promote deep relaxation.
