Nutrition and weight loss are often confusing and difficult to maintain changes either due to inconvenience or cost. Here are some health considerations for attaining overall better health and for natural weight loss.
- First always eat a good breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, by far. What happens for many people, isthey forget to eat breakfast or don't have time to eat breakfast. Then by mid morning their energy levels are depleted and they are craving a quick sugar boost. So many people will grab a quick snack, sugary beverage or office treat which are usually high in sugar and fat. This spikes the sugar in the blood and gets the body on a roller coaster of too much or not enough sugar. So the key consideration here is, eat a big breakfast with good protein, fiber foods and plenty of fruits. Eating a big breakfast reduces those mid morning cravings for sweets and fats.
- Next, eat a medium lunch with plenty of salad, veggies, and fruits. Typically when people eat a big breakfast they are not super hungry for lunch but it is still important to eat a medium lunch.
- Lastly, eat a light dinner with a salad and veggies, preferably before 7pm. Real important to eat a lighter dinner because it allows your body to fully digest the food and fully repair itself. When people eat a big dinner, later a night, the body spends most of the night trying to digest the food, which makes it more difficult to get deep restful sleep. When you eat a light dinner, then you may sleep better and wake up earlier, hungry for a big breakfast. It is a routine pattern that works best for the body.
